CONCEPT

Environmentally mindful office

A state-of-the-art sustainable design, the National Library Building in Singapore also serves as a landmark for the city. The facility functions as a cultural hub as well as a friendly civic space for Singaporeans.

Designed by ecologically conscious architect Ken Yeang, the building is replete with environment-friendly architectural features such as intelligent sensors that help reduce energy consumption, and has garnered many accolades both at home and abroad.

Our team was commissioned to design the built-in furniture and fittings in the management office which include the reception lobby, break-out spaces, and meeting rooms.

With the building achieving considerable energy savings relative to the scale of non-green buildings, it is undoubtedly a carefully done design with structures that lead to a sustainable low-impact design.
